At our July 21st meeting Michael J.Dabrishus will introduce us to the digital resources available at the University of Pittsburgh Library System. These holdings include a variety of archives pertinent to Western Pennsylvania genealogical research, including census records, Allegheny Co. coroner files, maps and photographs.

Prior to be “official” start of each meeting, beginning at 6:45, we are now holding an informal session where those present can toss out questions to the collective group. This is proving to be an excellent way to find new ideas for breaking through those “brick walls” that pop up in our research efforts.

We’re in the process of arranging our second annual Fall Genealogy Conference, and YOU can help! The date is set for October 24th. Our featured speaker will be Paula Stewart-Warren, CG, CGL, who is a nationally known and recognized expert in numerous areas of genealogy research. MORE INFORMATION HERE
