“Butler County Courthouse Records” October 21st Meeting

At our October 21st meeting Maxine Jackson, who has worked at the Butler County Courthouse for a number of years, will talk to us about the records that are available at this nearby resource, and how to best use them. MORE INFORMATION HERE

Annual December Social
Saturday Dec 6th

Tour the Pennsylvania Room at the Carnegie Library in Oakland, followed by lunch at the Cafe in the Carnegie's complex.  This event begins at 10:30 AM and is the perfect introduction to a vast collection of research data close to home, as well as an opportunity to meet and socialize with others in our North Hills group.  All are welcome.  The Cafe is reasonably priced with a varied "cafeteria style" selection of foods.  If you are planning on attending, please let us know by e-mail at INFO@NorthHillsGenealogists.org, so that we may notify our tour guide and the Cafe.

“TIP TIME”
PRIOR TO EACH MEETING

Prior to be “official” start of each meeting, beginning at 6:45, we are now holding an informal session where those present can toss out questions to the collective group. This is proving to be an excellent way to find new ideas for breaking through those “brick walls” that pop up in our research efforts.
